Recent Election Law changes mean that you can now apply to receive a mail-in ballot for the November 3, 2020, General Election. You can apply to vote by mail for any reason-- you do NOT have to be away from your place of residence on Election Day in order to vote by mail.
After submitting your application, the County Clerk will mail your ballot to your designated address sometime after September 24th, and you then will have up until Election Day, November 3rd to submit your completed ballot in the mail.
We recommend that voters participate in the vote by mail program.
Please do not hesitate to contact our office at (847)241-1909 if you have any questions about voting by mail.
